Amit Shah visits UP: The Home Minister praises the Chief Minister for law and order, and predicts that the BJP will establish a government with a “great majority” once more.

Uttar Pradesh has been ranked second in terms of economic growth, according to the home minister. The state’s economy has grown from 11 lakh crore to 22 lakh crore in the last four years.

Ahead of the 2022 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, home minister Amit Shah praised Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for bringing the state to the top of the law and order rankings and claiming that the state’s GDP rose two-fold during his tenure.

Shah said BJP governments strive for the development of the poorest people while speaking at a gathering after laying the foundation stone of the Uttar Pradesh State Institute of Forensic Sciences in Lucknow.

‘Adityanath led Uttar Pradesh to the top of the polls.’

I traveled extensively throughout Uttar Pradesh for six years, until 2019. As a result, I am very familiar with the earlier Uttar Pradesh. People were fleeing western Uttar Pradesh because of the fear, Shah said, and women felt frightened. The land mafia was seizing the land of the poor, there were incidences of firing in broad daylight, and riots were common.

The BJP pledged in 2017 that it will make Uttar Pradesh a developed state with improved law and order. Today, in 2021, I can proudly state that Yogi Adityanath and his team have led Uttar Pradesh to the top of the law and order rankings, he continued.

According to Shah, BJP governments do not work on the basis of caste, family, or individuals close to them. The BJP governments aim to improve the lives of the poorest people while also reforming law and order.

At the ceremony, Adityanath was joined by Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Dinesh Sharma.

Shah praised the chief minister for effectively implementing development and welfare initiatives in the state, calling him yashasvi (glorious) and safal (successful).

“UP is currently ranked first in the country in 44 development initiatives. Making schemes is simple, but putting them into action, eliminating intermediaries, and ensuring that the benefits reach the intended recipients is more difficult.

‘The economy of Uttar Pradesh has doubled.’

“Industrial investment, successful implementation of schemes, law, and order, loan waiver and purchasing crops from poor farmers, sending money directly to farmers’ accounts, making toilets in houses, giving homes to the homeless, and giving gas cylinders to 1.47 crore households, among other things,” Shah said.

“Uttar Pradesh has performed admirably in every industry under the leadership of Yogi Adityanath. In four years, the state’s GDP rose from Rs 11 lakh crore to Rs 22 lakh crore, making it the second-largest in the country “Added he.

Shah also lauded the Uttar Pradesh government for its handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, emphasizing that the state provided the most immunizations and tests.

“The BJP governments, led by Modi Ji, are focusing on public welfare with sensitivity, with Uttar Pradesh leading the way. I believe that the people of Uttar Pradesh gave the BJP an opportunity to govern by giving them more than 300 seats, he remarked.

We had promised that the government would be for everyone, not just for one caste or family. And today, I can claim that we have made considerable progress “Shah stated his opinion.

‘The BJP will win a landslide victory in Uttar Pradesh.’

In a scathing attack on the opposition, Shah said that Uttar Pradesh has the biggest number of leaders who become active only once elections are announced.

“During the floods and the COVID-19 situation, they were not visible.” They were engaged in mauj-masti during the period when it was necessary to waive the loans of farmers (fun and frolic). “At election time, they put on new clothing and come out,” he remarked.

Those who are hoping to win the election should prepare for another crushing defeat. He stated, “The BJP will form the government with a large majority.”

“The investors’ meet had to be conducted outside Uttar Pradesh in Delhi due to the prevailing law and order during the time of Akhilesh Yadav’s rule,” Shah remarked, criticizing Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav.

‘Police should go in the direction of fairness.’

The home minister also stated that policing had evolved over time as a result of issues such as counterfeit currency, cybercrime, and narco-terrorism, among others. He stated, “The police force needs to be better trained, and we need specialized manpower for investigations.”

Shah went on to say that the cops are too responsible for either inaction or retaliation. “Police must concentrate on just action,” he stressed.

“I often say that police officer are slandered for two reasons: one, they take no action, and the other, they take severe action. Indolence cannot correct the law and order system, hence no action is appropriate. Extreme is also incorrect because it causes a reaction. As a result, the police should move away from no action and excessive action and toward just action “he stated

Shah stated that the institute, in collaboration with Gandhinagar’s National Forensic Sciences University, will assist the police in moving further in the direction of natural action.
